As I was re-reading comments from the last posting, I noticed Mike O. mentioned the talent show... this photo helps me jog my memory, how about everyone else? Share your talent show memories, good and bad...
Oh, Davey Jones...

That is an awesome photo. Wish that they did have you tube when we all did our different skits. Jen and I and eddie williams did thats what friends are for, (I think it was Eddie anyways) That is hilarious. And I do remember Shannon's brother doing Kiss or something and they kicked the plastic buckets off the stage or something. Boy, they were "Bad Boys"
Just to clarify.... my brother's (and Shannon SW brother's) talent show act was ACDC.... I think Maria still may have a scar from getting hit from the broken guitar.
I believe I was nailed with a wooden guitar handle pretty certain it was Pat Haugh's. It just came out of nowhere and with such SJS rage! I am still a little hesitant to attend concerts to this day. The memory still haunts me. I still giggle/maybe even wince a bit, at our Stray Cats performance. There were only 3 in the band but we managed to fit four of us me, Jean, Shanny H. and Shannon S. I would have to say I don't think we were to convincing in the lip syncing category. And my drumming lacked passion.
Speaking of Eddie, is he out yet ?? I ran into Anna Wagner at outback last weekend and I told her about out little party, she said that our class was a little strange...
I see Anna at the gym...she brings her 2 boys into the child center. OH and I also work with Trish Amberg every Wed. night. That girl has not changed! Neither has Anna except her hair's long now. We were a little wacked out, but we have the BEST memories.
Nothing beats the Revenge of the Nerds...Mike you rocked that hair!
Hello everyone! I love that photo of the Monkees...I believe I had several of them up in my room as a young lad. I sure loved me some Monkees. Mike, I believe Eddie got out in February. So now, his whereabouts are unknown. Heather, I haven't sent anything to Matt J. yet. I do, however, have his address and will send him something closer to the date. I don't think telling him about this blog would be the best idea. Also, about the talent show. My sister Sue happened to be there when this "incident" occured, and each Christmas she acts out Sister John Francis and her little speech after the AC/DC act. I believe she used the word "killjoy" a few times.
P.S. And Maria. Don't be such a Simon! Your drumming didn't lack passion. I believe you did some damage to the cardboard boxes as well. Good luck in the next few weeks! And Jean..CONGRATS!
Stray Cats...I didn't know what I was doing. I think I just stood up there and tried to act like I was playing the guitar. Did we make those out of cardboard?
Heather, it's my third. Just trying to keep up with Shannon S. (and Maria, isn't this your third?)
Maria, I heard you were planning on naming your forthcoming little boy bundle, Thomas Joseph Queenan! Beautiful name.
And Jean, please consider Madeline (L')Engle(s).?!? Just a bit of a difference of your last name. I think you mentioned A Wrinkle In Time was your favorite novel of all time.

Maybe she can get a first hand account??

Off the talent show topic, but remember the passion play that we had to do? I can't remember what year it was. Anyways, just thinking of easter

I hated that novel. No Madeline or Laura. If we have another girl, I might cry, as will my husband. Too much estrogen around here.
